We were promised seven beautiful transformations, and here they are. We still have a few issues - it's been suggested that the Snow Gown is the same as the Turkish Delight gown, in which case we should expect one more dress. Comments welcome, as well as discussion over at the new Costumes area of the NarniaWeb forum! Jadis has been given a very natural look: no flowing fabrics or robes, a very stiff, cold appearance, with "frozen" skirts, and luxurious fur mantles. Check out this page for info on Jadis' hair, wand, fur mantles, makeup, and ice crown. In an interview on New Straits Times, Tilda Swinton reveals some information about her costume: she emphasizes how much they helped her take on her role as "the epitome of all evil."
